To support the growth our photographers have seen and the big vision to surpass where we are as a company today, we made changes to CloudSpot’s storage plans and pricing which went into effect on October 25th, 2021.

More details are below along with some helpful answers to questions we've received!



1. What are the new storage amounts and prices for each plan starting on October 25th?

Below you will see the current vs. upcoming storage and pricing changes to each of our plans!

2. Will these new larger storage amounts and pricing changes only apply to new customers?

No. The amount of storage and monthly/yearly pricing will be increasing for everyone as we aim to give all of our photographers the room to grow more within each plan!


3. Does this change affect my renewal date?

Your plan will renew on its normal day of the month, just at the new rate. You can check your renewal date here. Just keep in mind, that the price listed there does not yet reflect our new pricing.



4. I have a discount currently on my subscription, will that be affected?

Nope! If you have a limited or lifetime discount on your existing subscription that % or $ amount will be applied to the new price of your current plan. (i.e. If you had 20% off your plan current, you will still have 20% off the new pricing)



5. I was one of the original users of CloudSpot and have the "Unlimited Lifetime" plan, will my price also increase?

No. As long as you do not cancel your plan, that plan's pricing will remain unchanged and not increase.


6. Are there any changes coming to the Free plan as well?

Great question and yes! We will be increasing our free plan from 1 GB to 10 GB of available storage. The same feature limitations will still apply for anyone using our free plan, but our hope is that this gives you more freedom to try us with larger shoots!



7. I was one of the original users of CloudSpot and have the "Unlimited Lifetime" plan, will my price also increase?

No. As long as you do not cancel your plan, that plan's pricing will remain unchanged and not increase.


8. It looks like the yearly cost of the Unlimited plan is actually decreasing - did I read that right?

Yes, you did! We've lowered the yearly cost of our highest plan! 🎉


9. Why are these plan and pricing changes taking place?

Since CloudSpot started over 6 years ago, we have never adjusted our plans and increased pricing. We take any change like this extremely seriously and it's important to us that these are durable decisions for our photographers and our team. Just like your business is always looking for ways to add value and do more amazing things, so are we! The needs of photographers now versus 6 years ago continue to evolve and we want to be at the forefront of how we can give you more, grow and support our team, and continue to add undeniable value at every turn for your business 💙
