Watermark designs can vary greatly for photographers. With CloudSpot you can upload your own, customized watermark for seamless branding throughout your Galleries.

✨ Looking to find out how you can upload and apply your watermark to Galleries? Click here.

Note: If you intend to have your watermark span the full width of your image, please make sure your watermark file resolution can support this width without pixelation.

If you normally export your images at 4000px on the long edge, then open an image that size in Photoshop to use for sizing your watermark. Then, open up your transparent watermark file.

Press Command + A to select the file, and Command + C to copy it.

Head on over to your image and press Command + V to paste your watermark. Notice how your watermark has now been added as a new layer. From here, you can resize and position the watermark to your liking.

Once you're satisfied with the size of your watermark, click File > New to open a new document. Make sure 'Background Contents' is set to Transparent. Hit 'Create'.

On your original image, make sure the layer containing your watermark is selected and press Command + C to copy the resized watermark. Navigate to your new document and press Command + V to paste.

Once you've pasted the watermark, select Image > Trim to remove the excess pixels around your new watermark. Make sure Transparent Pixels is selected, then hit OK.

Now you can save your new watermark as a transparent PNG!

Woohoo! 🎉 You did it. Now you can upload your watermark in your Account Settings and it'll be ready to apply to Galleries. In CloudSpot, you can further customize your watermark using the Opacity, Scale, and Placement settings.
