You can use Custom Products to offer clients products that may not be supported by our partner labs or self-fulfill all products with your preferred lab. Custom Products can be used in a Custom Fulfillment Catalog or added to an Auto Fulfillment Catalog. π
Create a Custom Product
1. In your Catalog, click Add Product then choose Custom Fulfillment:
2. Customize the product Category, Name, Description, and upload product images.
With Custom Products, you get to customize the name and description, as well as what Category this product should belong to in your Store. You can also upload up to 5 product images!
If there isn't an existing Category that fits your product, you can create a new one using the Category drop-down menu.
3. Set the price.
If this is a stand-alone product, go ahead and set the price in the Product Price field. You can also add an extra fee for shipping if this is a larger product.
If you need to add Product Options, skip this step and move on to step 4.
4. Add Product Options (if applicable).
You can add various options to your Custom Product. This could include anything from size, paper type, etc. In this example, we'll be adding different print sizes and paper types.
The Name field is where you'll input the type of option you're adding. Since we need to add size options, we'll enter Size here. Values is where you'll add the different options you want to offer. Below, you can see we added some common print sizes.
Click Save once you've finished. Then repeat the process for any additional options you want to include. π
5. Pricing your Product Options!
Now that our Product Options have been added, it's time to add prices. You will see all of your Product Options listed out, so you can easily go through and price each one. You can also add Additional Shipping where applicable.
Keep in mind, Additional Shipping is applied on top of your regular shipping rates. Learn how to add shipping rates here.
6. Save your Custom Product!
Once you've finished customizing your product, make sure to hit Save in the top right corner. π
What Does My Client See?
Once sales are enabled, you can view things from your client's end by previewing your Gallery! Here's what the finished product of our example above looks like:
Clients can select which options they want, then add the product to their cart. π
View Custom Orders
Once you receive an order, you'll be able to see it in the Orders section of your Store. Custom Products will have a default status of Queued, which you can update, marking it complete once you know the order has been fulfilled. π
