With Abandoned Cart Emails, you can automatically remind your client to finish checking out after they haven't touched their cart in 24 hours!

By having the "Send Abandon Cart Email" option toggled on, your client will receive a reminder to check out, 24 hours after they've added the last product to their cart πŸ˜„

All you need to do to make this happen is make sure this toggle is ON in the Store tab of your Gallery Settings:

And BOOM! Your clients will automatically receive beautiful emails just like this encouraging them to return and finish their order:

Q: Where do I find this setting?

A: This Setting is in the Store Tab of you Gallery Settings, under the Discount Code Option. It's enabled by default, so if you want it on, no need to touch the setting:

Q: Do I need to have Email Capture enabled to use this feature?

A: While not required, it is recommended to make sure that every client can receive a reminder. If you do not have Email Capture enabled, reminder emails will still be sent if your client has saved their cart to an email, but not if they continue to check out as a guest.

Q: Will my client get multiple Abandoned Cart emails?

A: Clients will only get one reminder per cart. So once they receive one email, they will not continue to receive emails πŸ™‚

Q: If I turn this feature on in previous Galleries, will everyone with an active cart be notified immediately?

A: Nope! The 24-hour clock would start once a change is made to your client's cart. So if sign in tomorrow and add an additional print to their cart, then the 24 hour countdown would start 😊

Q: Does this new feature impact previous Galleries?

A: This option was turned on by default in new Galleries as of the beginning of September 2024. So it may already be on in recent Galleries. However, this feature was not retroactively enabled in previous Galleries.

Q: Can I customize this message?

A: The message is standard and uneditable for the time being.

Q: Do I need to have this feature on?

A: Not at all! While we've seen 50% of those who open the email finish checking out, it's not something that you need to have enabled. You can turn this off when creating a new Gallery or create a preset with it turned off so you don't need to do that every time.
