Embedding videos from Google Drive is a great way to allow clients to showcase a video and even give the option to download!

✨ HOW TO ✨

To add a Google Drive video to your gallery, visit your gallery settings by clicking on the collection in your Collection Dashboard, and then click Galleries & Apps at the top right. Next, click β€œEdit” next to the gallery you'd like to embed the video into.

Navigate to the "Advanced" tab in your gallery settings to access the "Embed Media" section.

Head over to Google Drive, right-click on the video you want to share, and click "Get Shareable Link". Follow the link to view the video on Google Drive. Click on the three vertical dots and select "Embed Item..."

Copy the URL text inside the "src="

Take that link and paste it into the 'Other URL' section on CloudSpot. Then, click Update!

BOOM! You're done! πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰

✨ F.A.Q. ✨

Q: Can my client download the embedded video?

A: You bet! Simply click on the "Pop Out" Button to view the video on Google Drive.

Once there, your client can download the video by clicking on the "Download" button in the top right corner:

Q: Help! My video isn't loading in my Gallery!

A: Oh no! The most common cause for this is that the wrong link is embedded in the Gallery. Make sure that you copied the link from the "Embed item" code and paste that link into your CloudSpot Gallery Settings. Still having trouble? Reach out to our support team! We love to help ❀️
