JPEGmini is a patented photo recompression technology, which significantly reduces the file size of photographs without affecting their perceptual quality.
How Does it Work?
JPEGmini works by analyzing the input image using a unique quality detector which imitates the human visual system and, based on this analysis, applies the maximum amount of compression without causing visible artifacts.
Upon upload, your JPEG file sizes will be reduced by an average of 60%, giving you the ability to store more photos without affecting the quality of your images whatsoever! (Yes, it's sorcery...but it's true).

Will This Reduction of File Size Affect Client Print or Product Orders?
No! Since JPEGmini does not alter the perceptual quality of your photos, they can be printed by your clients or through our Auto Fulfillment Lab Partners at the same size you would print your original photos, and the prints will look exactly the same. I Don't Have CloudSpot's Unlimited Plan, So What Does This Mean for my Storage?
Smaller file sizes mean you can hold more photos on your storage plan! Conservatively, you can estimate your plan will hold 2x more photos than before, but probably more!
