How to Create a New Questionnaire

Questionnaires can be sent to your clients individually or shared through a Project. This article covers how to create and send a stand-alone Questionnaire to your client!

Create a Questionnaire

Navigate to Questionnaires, then click New Questionnaire in the top right corner.

If you've already created some Templates (which we recommend!), you can select one of those Templates, or start from scratch!

Now it's time to assign your client! βœ”οΈ

If you chose a Template, it will already be populated below:

Any changes - like editing or adding new questions - can be made before sending it to your client!

If you're starting from scratch, you can go ahead and start building your Questionnaire!

The following question types are supported in Questionnaires:

  • Short Answer

  • Long Answer

  • Drop down

  • Radio button

  • Checkboxes

  • Date

Placeholder text can be added to help give your clients an idea of what kind of answer you're looking for.

Questions can also be marked as Required, meaning your clients must answer them to submit the form. Required questions will be marked with a red asterisk when your client is filling out the Questionnaire.

Send a Questionnaire

Once you've finished customizing the Questionnaire, it's time to send it to your client! βœ‰οΈ

If you're not quite ready to send it, you can save the Questionnaire as a draft and come back to it later. πŸ˜„

After clicking Send Questionnaire, you can apply an Email Template (or type out an email) and send it off to your client!

✨ Want to add this Questionnaire to a Project? ✨

To add a standalone Questionnaire to a Project, open the Quick Actions menu in the top-right corner and click Add to Project:

Note: The project must already be created, and the contact assigned to the project must match the contact assigned to the questionnaire.
