There are some key settings that can be used to protect your client's Gallery and images. In this article, we're going to touch on each of those settings and how you can use them to keep your client's images private!

โ€‹These options will be found in your Gallery Settings. To access Settings for a Gallery that has already been created, click on Galleries & Apps in the Collection, then Settings:

Download PIN

Enabling a Download PIN gives clients control over who can download from their Gallery. This setting is found in the Downloads section, and will only be applicable if you're offering free downloads in the Gallery.

When turned on, a 4-digit PIN will be generated, and it will be required for anyone downloading from the Gallery. This PIN can be reset or disabled at any time.

Password Protection

This setting is found in the Access section:

Having a password is a critical feature for more sensitive galleries like those for boudoir sessions and those involving children. This password is Cap-sensitive, and we also recommend using something that is not easily guessed. If in doubt, use the Generate button to create a secure password.

Expiration Date

Also found under the Access section, having an expiration date for the Gallery will make it inaccessible after the specified date. However, the Collection and images will remain on your account, and you can reactivate the Gallery at any time.

You also have the option to send an automated reminder email before the expiration date. Simply set the number of days before expiration for the email to be sent, select a template (default or custom), and choose to send it to all Gallery visitors or specific email addresses.
