When you create/edit an online gallery for a Collection, you can enable or disable downloads and dictate what exact sized image your clients can download. If you’re on the free plan, you’ll be able to set your downloads to a maximum of 2048px along the longest edge (Social Media size).
Customize Download Settings in a Gallery
To enable downloads in an online gallery, enter the Collection you're working on and click “Galleries & Apps”.
From there, select "Settings" on the Gallery you'd like to edit.
Navigate to the Download tab. Here you can toggle ON "Enable Downloads". You can then select which folders you'd like your clients to be able to download. By deselecting a folder for Download, your clients will be able to view the images, but not download them.
Note: Disabling Downloads for a Folder will also make it so that clients cannot download Favorites Lists that contain images from that Folder, since it is no longer available for download.
Once Downloads are enabled, you can specify the exact dimensions gallery visitors will be allowed to download by selecting from the Image Size options. You can select one, two, or even all three of the following options: Full Resolution, Social Media (2048px), and/or Custom Dimensions.
Your client will have the ability to download individual images in their online gallery or request to download all photos with just one click! Clients will be able to decide which size they want to download in the Gallery from the option you give them.
If you'd like these downloads watermarked, head to the access tab and enable watermark for downloaded images. 👍
Downloading from a Gallery
From within the Gallery, there are two ways to download images. Either individually or entire folders.
For single images, if you have one download size enabled, just click this button, and the image will download right away. If you have more than one size, you'll have to select which size you want to download.
For entire folders, favorites, or all photos, click the download icon in the top right of the gallery.
The next screen gives the option of what to download, and if you have multiple sizes available, which size. An email from your business will be sent out with a direct link to download those requested photos.
