Before diving into sharing files with your clients, we highly recommend creating Templates first! When it's time to email your client, you can simply choose the relevant Template, make any necessary changes, and hit send. โœ‰๏ธ

How to Access Templates

Navigate to the Templates section using the side menu in Studio. Here, you will see options to create Templates for Contracts, Invoices, and Questionnaires.

Document Templates

Contracts

With customizing your Contract Template, you have a variety of options. You can adjust the font size, add headings, bullet points, hyperlinks, and more. We also highly recommend using Smart Fields. These nifty fields automatically fill in relevant information when you assign and send a Contract to your client. With Smart Fields, you don't have to manually enter client details like first and last name, phone number, address, etc., each time you send out a Contract.

Contract Templates can be comprised of multiple titled sections in order to clearly outline each topic being covered. Just click Add a new section to create a new, blank section.

Don't forget to give your Template a name that makes it easy to identify. Once you've finished creating your Template, click Save. It'll now be available to send to a client or add to a Project!

Invoices

Invoice Templates allow you to save pricing so that it can be quickly sent out when clients are ready to book. You can create multiple Invoice Templates based on session type, special pricing or discounts you want to offer, and more.

Give your Invoice Template a name, then start adding Items.

Multiple Items can be added to an Invoice Template. For example, if you want to save an Invoice that includes additional image retouching, it can be added as a separate line item.

Click Save once you've finished!

Questionnaires

Questionnaire Templates make it easy to gather all necessary information prior to your client's session. These templates can be made up of the following types of questions:

  • Short Answer

  • Long Answer

  • Drop down

  • Radio button

  • Checkboxes

Sections and questions can be set to 'Required' - meaning your client must fill it out to submit the form.

Email Templates

In addition to document Templates, you can also customize and save Email Templates for sharing Contracts, Invoices, Questionnaires, and Projects.

These can be found under 'Emails' section for each document type:

We've provided some prewritten Email Templates, so you edit those existing Templates and/or create new ones. Smart Fields are also available for use in Email Templates!
